The tradition of the Stude handmade chocolate delicacies is still alive and well

Delectable sweets have been served here since the early 19th century. More than 150 years ago, Georg Stude was one of the first in Estonia to produce not only marzipan, but also delicious chocolate confections, bars and chocolate figurines. The confectionery packaging was of very high quality for its time and was beautifully designed. As the luxury boxes were not affordable to everyone, they never became mass-produced, which is why Stude’s old confectionery boxes are sought after and treasured by collectors.

The tradition of handmade chocolate sweets is still alive and well here. Skilled artisans still make about a dozen sweets with different fillings and glazes, as well as chocolate bars with various natural additives, chocolate hearts and other treats.
